I love all things books!
I have been a part of the Sno-Isle Libraries system since the early 80's and was on the Foundation Board for several years.
I believe in libraries. I believe in what libraries can give to a community: knowledge, education, support, wonder, resources and common ground.
I am usually reading one book and listening to another as an audio book.
Here is a short list of some of the books I have been reading, or listening to, lately:
- Death masks a Jim Butcher novel about a modern day wizard in Chicago
- Conservatives without conscience by John Dean - a VERY interesting read!
- Flashforward by Robert Sawyer - my favorite Sci-Fi author
- The Rosie project by Graeme Simsion - VERY FUNNY!
- The wind is not a river by Brian Payton - Whidbey Reads book - Fantastic
- The plover by Brian Doyle - beautiful read
- Dead wake : the last crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson - detailed account of a world war II sea disaster
